BREATHING FOR LIFE
Did you breathe today? Breathing is connected to your inner state and tension level, but also with cardiovascular fitness, reflexes, posture, and much more. The way you breathe connects to the degree of acidity in your blood, affecting clear thoughts vs. ‘brain fog,’ coordination skills, and freedom of movement. In everything we do, including fitness and sports, we reinforce our habits and patterns. Breathing is an autonomous function; thank God for that.
We breathe around 20,000 times a day, but we become better in the things we do most of the time, in all aspects, good and less good. At first, it seems like an illusion to breathe better. So, what is it that you learn in this workshop? You will become aware of your own habits and patterns in relation to your breathing. You will learn what good breathing is, why it matters, and you will experience it.
You will receive clear, scientifically based information. You will be able to understand what has changed and find ways to improve further at any time. How can this workshop improve your life? You will have tools to calm down, move, sit, and stand more freely. Coordination skills will improve with practice, leading to better mood and better social interaction. This is only the beginning.
These unique workshops are a result of my personal history with hyperventilation, asthma, and collapsed lung. As a professional musician-flutist, I was looking for ways to improve my breathing technique in playing as well as the physiological aspects of my breathing. I want to share the knowledge I acquired on this never-ending quest because it changed my life, and maybe yours. As a certified Franklin Method Movement Educator L3, I can also share a phenomenal, science-based approach.
BETTER BREATHING IS A GIFT FOR LIFE
